Origin of the PathWays Institute

In 2016, I retired from Corporate America to pursue a new mission through my for-profit corporation, Metrics2Results (M2R). My goal was simple: to dedicate my remaining years to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I am thrilled to share that our mission has been warmly embraced by the market.

Our timely development and facilitation of results-based training have been enthusiastically received by businesses, institutions, and individuals alike. The positive impact our team has made thus far fills us with both pride and humility. Today, there is a growing thirst for self-improvement, organizational advancement, and societal progress.

In 2023, we expanded our efforts by launching a non-profit organization aimed at educating, training, and connecting underserved communities to enhance their career prospects, health, and wealth creation. We believe that by extending the curriculum, content, and training methodologies of M2R, along with additional resources and connections, we can significantly uplift these communities.

As technological advancements continue at a rapid pace, we foresee a widening socio-economic gap between underserved communities and those with greater access to resources. Technology threatens to replace many jobs traditionally held by members of these communities. Without a strong emphasis on education and training in career development, health, and wealth management, this gap could become even more detrimental.

We are convinced that the key to ensuring the safety, sustainability, and prosperity of our society lies in bridging this gap. By equipping individuals in disadvantaged situations with the skills and knowledge to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, we can mitigate the adverse effects and foster a more inclusive future.

If you have an interest, a book I wrote in 2021, The Question of Reparations, shares many of the key points that have shaped my thoughts and beliefs on the importance of a socio-economic approach rather than a purely racial one to socio-economic improvement and stability.
